Machynys is a friendly, relaxed and beautiful place to visit. We are members and regularly use the gym and spa facilities. The facilities are great and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Haven't been on the course yet but the range is great and with the trackmaster it really helps knowing your distance and where your shots are going and just general feedback. 8 or 9 bucks for a bucket i think can be lowered a smidge In my opinion but overall happy with going there now and again

Food today was not up to the usual standard. Chips were lovely but the chicken and pesto sandwich smelt and tasted as if the chicken was a little off. The coronation chicken sandwich was very much devoid of chicken and poor value for money. We love coming to Macchynys weekly to meet with friends but will just stick to coffee in the future.

Slow service, cold meal, which although there was a lot of meat was off-putting in the way the amount was presented. Frozen not fresh veg & the sprouts were like bullets. Very disappointing.

Called in for lunch and was very disappointed !! I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fillings , and as I was half way eating the sandwich I felt something hard in my mouth , a piece of “Porcelain” probably chipped off a dish or plate . Luckily I had not chipped my tooth or even worse swallowed the piece ! I immediately complained and although I was reimbursed the money for the meal and the chef apologised etc for what had happened I felt let down that this had happened in a supposedly highly rated establishment as Machynys !!!

Had lunch and spa treatments here from a gift voucher, had a full massage and facial, beautiful experience, the therapist Rachel was excellent. Will definitely come again :-) food was also beautiful ❤️

Sorry not a location visit again, so I can’t say what the golf course and facilities is like but my reason for visiting was to charge my EV up as they have several EV chargers ( mixture of 22kw and 50kw if I remember ) at the bottom of their Carpark.
It’s clearly a Really forward thinking business and well worth charging here as the fast charger was quick and the location secure. Thanks for having EV chargers on your land!!

Had a facial and my therapist had to go and tell other staff to be quiet, it was impossible to relax due to the chatter. A lady was having her nails done and the therapist was talking to her, fine fir her but not relaxing for me at all trying to have a relaxing experience, nails should not be done in the communal area or should be done in between massages.
I spoke to the manager who just said sorry.
